      morphed into December Bride that spun off Pete and Gladys.  It was also a time when the syndicated reruns couldn't have the same name as the original show.  Thus Andy Griffin morphed into Mayberry RFD, long before  Ken berry took over AG.  I remember making fun of Robert Young, Family Doctor, that was Marcus Welby.
