    that a big part of achieving the society that Giroux is talking about is rebuilding the idea of community. We are so busy on the treadmill and the wolf is so close to the door all the time, we don't make the necessary connections with each other.

    We shouldn't be competing for that last fucking crumb. We should be baking the bread and making sure everyone gets their share. mr.u reminisces about when he was in Panama, going down to the shore early and joining the villagers in helping to bring in the nets. Everyone got a fish, that's how it worked.

    Something has to change, what we are going thru is unsustainable. It sounds and is so simple but that is why this is so diabolical. It was so simple that we fell into this and now we can't find our way out of it.
