  •  The author of this diary is one of the wealthiest (18+ / 0-)

on Daily Kos. He practices what The Pope preaches. You would never know by this comment that he and his brother were about to rescue a veteran having a psychotic break - a veteran they had never met.

Why does that make just bob one of the wealthiest Kossacks ? Because he knows the value of friendship, the value of life, and the value received by giving help when and where it is needed. No amount of money can equal any one of those things.

Those who fought the war in Afghanistan won it. Get them out of Afghanistan NOW . . . It's long past time. The time has come to repair this country and care for its' veterans.

      New International Version (NIV)

19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Just Bob has no wealth of the monetary variety. I just want to ensure there's no misunderstanding. I'm an old man living on Social Security.

I'm a Vietnam Era vet. I'm also an Erma Bombeck Era vet. When cussing me out and calling me names please indicate which vet you would like to respond to your world changing thoughts.

I have enough so that I can devote myself to education for a billion children at a time (all of them) through One Laptop Per Child and its partner Sugar Labs, with the aim of ending poverty, and with it most forms of oppression, government corruption, and war. Maybe even Global Warming. Whatever is left over, they will have to come to grips with themselves.
