    because instability in the Middle East drove the price of gasoline up, and the war fueled the profitability and revenue growth of the military industrial complex (thereby stealing from the American taxpayer and stealing from future generations).

    That's not the kind of economic activity that builds a strong American economy, but Bush and Cheney were only concerned how those who gave them political contributions (and power) did financially. They cared about their political allies, the Energy Companies, Halliburton, and the other defense contractors, to the exclusion of others.

      It is a fact Cheney owned Haliburton stock.The powerful lie
      and our soldiers suffer. We need to learn and not let history
      repeat itself.
