    I applaud your effort.   No wally worlds in Seattle proper of course but do remember that most clerks in the cunning little organic shops, bakeries and farmers markets and other local businesses  also make minimum wage.

    Lasy fall I was at a bus stop where there were teachers picketing.  Across the street were $15 an hour picketers.

    I asked a teacher if they were there to show solidarity with the clerks as there was no real issue with teachers this year.  He laughed and told me it was absurd to think a clerk should get $15.  "That would just drive up prices for the rest of us."

    Hmmmm doesn't a property tax increase to increase school funding also drive up the cost of living?

    Sigh, its often hard to live in pseudo liberal Seattle.
