  •  LOL! (6+ / 0-)

I used to bike or walk everywhere in Boise. Can't do that here, so  I bought a trainer and set up my bike in the living room. Got two good days in before the tooth thing came up and I'm back on the couch because I'm in so much pain.

I have an appointment with the dentist in an hour, and I'm hoping that when my alarm goes off on Monday I'll be ready to jump back on my bike. It makes me feel soooo much better.

I also have a rowing machine that I love to use. The rhythm of it makes me forget I'm exercising LOL.

    P.S. I am not a crackpot.

Having exercises you love helps tremendously. I'm convinced the reason that my own weight loss was hard, but not as hard as I thought it would be, was that I was exercising before I started my diet. Not enough, clearly, but I got the good habit set first. :)

      •  Yep. If there was a place to ride (4+ / 0-)

outdoors around here I never would have stopped. I love, love, love cycling.

Fortunately, most of my favorite foods are healthy, but with the stress of my job I often turn to "comfort" foods for lunch instead. And this town has a shitty selection of produce in every single store. I have not been able to find bean sprouts anywhere. Those used to be a staple of my diet- I put them on everything.

        P.S. I am not a crackpot.
