    the police and fire reports haven't been written yet, other than the fact that the fire started in a home. Fireplace/oven/something caught on fire, filled the wooden house, and then the wind took it.

      lots of snow on roofs, etc.

      wood buildings should have high humidity.

      not easily ignited.

        levels of cold, you have very dry air because the colder it gets, the less water the air holds.

        I could be wrong about this stuff though. I just wouldn't think there's a global warming angle here.

        It mostly has to do with your standard winter house fire combined with a wood town and high winds.
