  •  Please don't inflict Comcast on me. (4+ / 0-)

I have Time Warner, and I have had a generally good experience with them.  I don't know why my service is so much better than what most experience with TWC, but I suspect it's because I live in a middle-class to upper-middle-class area where a lot of people opt for satellite.

But whatever the reason, all I know is that while I've read a lot of discontent aimed at Time Warner, it's nothing compared to the seething black hatred focused at Comcast.  I'm pretty sure they are the single most hated consumer service company in the United States.

I don't want cable service from a company that seems to actively exploit its customers, and I sure as hell don't want to have to deal with Comcast's sh*tty Netflix performance.  (TWC's Netflix speeds are pretty good by comparison.)

Maybe the luck I've had with Time Warner will extend to Comcast, but I hope I don't have to find out.

for lousy service, but worry about it getting worse.

There already is class warfare in America. Unfortunately, the rich are winning.
