    No, don't fight back.  Just let yourself, your children, your great-grandchildren be a punching bag, because eventually your enemy will get tired of the beatings and killings.  I guess one can call that a "strategy".

    I call it being oppressed for 100 years longer than necessary.

      You obviously don't know much about what actually happened during those centuries in India and South Africa. There was lots of fighting back, even wars.

      The government military won. The US military would win even more bloodily. Your logic didn't help the Confederacy from being "oppressed" by the Union, either. Or the Iraqis. Or the Afghans. Or any of a lot of other places.

      Your logic says the armed conflicts that preceeded the nonviolent resistance and political organization was more effective. Your logic is wrong.
