If the so called Tea Party nuts would think for a microsecond, they would realize that Paul's comments about not calling people names and being more inclusive as a party is not the least bit serious.  It is done as part of the checklist for running for higher office.  So called swing voters insist on being lied to repeatedly by politicians to obtain their votes.  Paul's comments were meant for the gullible swing voters.

I'm sure once the cameras are not rolling that Paul will be more than happy to go all out crazy for a Tea Party audience.  In fact, I'm sure that Paul will cynically use some of racist comments listed above as "proof" to the DC media that he has the strength and leadership to tell his most ardent supporters things they don't want to hear.  However, Paul will do nothing to alter Republican policies that attack Latinos, African Americans, women, and the LGBT community.

That's the problem. Your sentence is directly analogous to one beginning:

"If that SAE40 Pennzoil would just mix with water, ...."

"It's high time (and then some) that we put an end to the exceptionalistic nonsense floating around in our culture and face the fact that either the economy works for all, or it doesn't work AT all." -- Sean McCullough (DailyKos user thanatokephaloides)
