with a professor speaking very well about it, along with Ray McGovern who called IIRC™ John Kerry a NeoCon...pretty sure it wasn't neolib..but anyway, his contributions were interesting and certainly not the whole picture, but the professor was excellent and totally worth hearing it.

They talked about the messaging and the threats Kerry delineated, the Putinesca propagandizing and much more.

on RT as presented by The Saker's blog.

People here probably won't like it. But for those who are curious it might be interesting.

I'll probably disagree with this, but thanks for posting it. Though the intro is pretty simplistic. However, they do have some decent intellectual minds on that panel.

It's the same kind of disinfo I've been hearing from Ukrainian sources.

You really can't trust Ukrainian or Russian media on this. One of the best sources has been Al Jazeera.

        •  What we have seen is blowback (0+ / 0-)

from an unsuccessful attempt at regime change which has been in the planning for a long time. Victoria Nuland herself has admitted that we have spent $5 Billion in efforts to subvert Ukraine.

In his book The Grand Chessboard published in the late 90's Brzezinski wrote about the importance of Ukraine, describing it as a "vital geopolitical pivot". His book opens with a section with the title "The Short Road to Global Supremacy".

          Who owns Al Jazeera?

That’s a fairly simple question. The network is owned by the Qatari government, which is run by the Al Thani family.  The U.S. State Department describes Qatar this way:

Qatar is an hereditary constitutional monarchy governed by the ruling Al Thani family in consultation with a council of ministers, an appointed advisory council and an elected municipal council.

It’s a kingdom — complete with a royal family that controls massive wealth from their substantial oil and gas reserves.

In case you've missed it Qatar has been funding Muslim extremists in Syria in another attempt at regime change which is not unrelated to events in Crimea / Ukraine.
