    of Florida still regard themselves of citizens of whatever state they moved from--they don't vote in state and local elections.

      Everywhere else when you meet people, they say "What do you do?".  In Florida, they ask "Where are you from?". My family has been here since 1843. When we got here, they hadn't invented Deep Woods Off, AC or screens. Maybe we would be better off if they hadn't. I have high hopes that Rick Scott will be able to go back to wherever he is from after the next election.
      I live in Palm Beach County, Ground Zero for screwed up voting. We also have more politicians who served or are serving time for corruption than any other county. We are also unfortunately the home of Rush Limbaugh as well as Bernie Madoff. But we also have "the Glades", home of some of the poorest in the nation. Big Sugar owns the economy there. Sugar subsidies flow from there back to the coast.
