    They turned up nothing.

    They've had hearings.  Nothing.

    The next recourse isn't another hearing, it's a lawsuit.  Go for it, if you're so concerned about precedents.

    I worked for a non profit that had a 401 c3 and c4 and we kept everything separate-- from funding streams to personnel.  I kept the books for a short time and we never got in trouble with the IRS.  When you mix everything up and you can't account for it, you get in trouble.

      the center of the scandal refused to talk you get: nothing.

      There's no evidence I am aware of that any of the conservative groups' applications that were put under extra inquiry and hassled - but ultimately approved after much delay- did anything wrong either. Remember this was the application not any actions.

      My wife directed the local chapter of a 501c 3 for many years.
