  •  Yes, MB has been great with comments, tips, (6+ / 0-)

and recs. You can see in his profile that he is way at the top of all the lists on these things.

Another thing he does, that I just told him in a txt I, and a whole lot of other of the non-Front-Page writers greatly appreciate, is he will check to see if someone has had a post already on the rec board when he is about to post and often put up a h/t.

It takes extra time, but when the volunteer writers take hours writing up a post, and have the great and rare fortune to even get on the Rec board, only to be blown off by a FP who posts on the same topic 2 to 4 hours later without mentioning it, but having the time to add photos etc. it can sometimes burn a bit.

MB has given me h/t a few times, that makes one feel part of the whole team.

Also, I'd like to mention his Green Diary round up, where he not only reads, 30 or 40 posts on environment and energy topics, then collects them, highlights the author with a link, and quote. A tremendous boost to some of us who might be lucky to get 10 recs and comments on an environmental topic that gets little notice if posted at an unlucky time, and falls off the recent list into obscurity.  Thanks MB.

My very first diary hit last weekend's Green Roundup and was even quoted above the fold! WOOT! I sent MB a note thanking him for the honor and he wrote me back within an hour! Quite a class act and a really nice guy.

Watch out or I'll go get my shovel and unload plant divisions on you!
