TAFTA through or otherwise gut Europe's regulations.

Sure once I was young and impulsive, I wore every conceivable pin. Even went to socialist meetings, learned all the old union hymns. Ah, but I've grown older and wiser. And that's why I'm turning you in. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u52Oz-54VYw

That talking point is so mind-bogglingly stupid that even the pro-Keystone politicians gave up on it a while ago and started talking about jobs.

does not give a rats ass which country or region is burning dirty grease. I do not understand the argument that someone else will a. pipe it/ship it bs. It won't be burned here. So what? it's not about a race to the top with our economic global rivals it's about not burning dirty energy globally. Funny how we hear that this global oligarchical out of control world as we find it is 'inevitable' and we are supposed to just accept the tar sands as somebodies going to do it it might as well be the US. Like global austerity and GS rules the world it's unstoppable. Nonsense.

WTF there is nothing inevitable about extracting the grease and shipping it to China or where ever. It isn't even economically in our national interest. But hey here in OR our D4emocratic Gov. is shipping coal down the river and shipping it to China. All this says to me is that our government is owned lock stock and oil barrel by big oil along with all the other too bigs who like GS own ports and have a vested interest in burning up the world, one way or another.

Why is this in our national interest or even our global interest. How about our government spend the money on renewable energy that works instead of letting the multinational grease extractors make a killing off the earth's demise. It's our home and it's not worth the price they are extracting.
