How are you and I disagreeing?

Yes to your last comment--the court in the CLB case found the purported "inhumanity" protection was actually a smokescreen for religious discrimination--because the law was allowing slaughter in the same ways for non-religious purposes.

Is anybody alleging in the Danish kosher/halal case that Danish law allows slaughter in the same ways for non-religious purposes? I.e., is anyone alleging the Danish law is a smokescreen for religious discrimination?

At any rate, in the Hobby Lobby case, nobody is alleging Obamacare is a smokescreen for religious discrimination. The law is (as far as Hobby Lobby is alleging) fine for everybody else; they're claiming they should get a special religious exemption that people can't get for plain old secular reasons.
