I am 58, going on 59 and there is no way in heck that I could stand in line for up to 6 hours without a potty break.  However, with that being said, I would do it anyway, while wearing a depends, for I would not want all the vets in my family's history to haunt me and smack me silly, not to mention my son and husband.

I will never forget, as long as I live, the day the entire world had hope... 01/20/09

    •  What to do with the used ones? (7+ / 0-)

Someone should distribute Depends to people on the line, with a changing booth for privacy (maybe in a van, so they can't force it off the sidewalk) and a place-holder person.  Then when they come out of the voting booth, they should collect the used Depends and, after a day of fermentation, deliver them to the Elections Department.

...then a Portapotty should be, too.   Some enterprising person with a septic tank cleaning business could donate a row of Portapotties.

After all, didn't this new law just say that restrooms in polling places would be closed?  It didn't say anything about potties being trucked in, right?
