  •  Comparisons to 1930's Germany (none)
I'm sorry, I know some of you more scaredy-cat types are going to flame me and get all bent out of shape, but not acknowledging the obvious similiarities is criminal. I feel this is beyond imcompetence. I think you know what I'm inferring. Premeditation. IMO, this is  ethnic-cleansing of the worst kind. I draw comparison's to the Holocaust, and to deny it is to not face reality.

I was censored over on DU for making this obvious observation after posting a Texas friends' eyewitness account of his experience at the Astrodome. Here's the link. Read it!
    Astrodome Eyewitness Report

To me, it sounded eerily similiar in many ways to the plight of jews, gays, and all the others who suffered under Hitler in the 1930's. To deny this is simply inexcusable and IMO, fascist brown-shirting. If we can't examine all angles when such blatant criminal imcompetence occurs, we are nothing but slaves living in early fascism and it will get worse.

To allow the GOP to hold a gun to our head on sites like KOs and DU, simply because the rightwing assigns some attack-bot pundit once a month to do a distorted, out of context smear-job, cherry-picking out some of the more radical ideas that may get posted and painting it as a widely held view by Dem leaders is the exact reason why the left has lost two elections. You can't allow yourselves to be pigeon holed like that... Flinching every time the right smears DU or KOs. When the rightwing media lies in these hatchet job reports, watching your P's and Q's is pointless.  A lie is a lie. YOu simply have to call a lie a lie instead of censoring.
