  •  rock on. fuck the yanqui imperialist scum. (none)

South America is, much to my personal pleasure, turning out to be the proving ground for a brand new breed of peoples' heroes, with the great Ugo C. leading the way. Here's hoping Africa, Asia, and even Europe are watching.

And, I am SO looking forward to the re-inauguration of Daniel Ortega I can hardly stand it.

    •  Is this post serious? (none)
If so, how come no leading Democratic figure has ever said anything remotely similar to this?

        "major democratic figures" say.

I care what is true, and as a veteran of the '80s stateside battle to countervene US imperialism in central/south america, as a personal friend of people in the field who were directly targeted by Salvodoran/SOA death squads for the crime of fighting for land reform, and as a person of conscience I applaud the efforts of workers in all nations to overthrow their thug capitalist overlords and achieve economic justice.

"major democratic figures" in the US have never given more than half a shit for workers' rights; their few feints in the direction of the rights of the masses vs. the privileges of crony capitalism are crumbs from massa's table - there to be snatched up when they appear, but not to be genuflected for.
