when they gloat over how this "moonbat" story was a fabrication - but you'll hear it from us.

To claim secular societies are rejecting God, is to concede that religious societies are rejecting reality.

    •  Wow. Took me less than 5 minutes (none)
      to find an example:

      Michelle Malkin:

      ANOTHER LIBERAL HOAX
You've probably heard about the UMass student who claimed that Department of Homeland Security agents visited him after he checked out Mao's Little Red Book from the library. Well, he has now admitted that he made the story up.

To claim secular societies are rejecting God, is to concede that religious societies are rejecting reality.

Blogs For Bush: Another Leftwing Fraud Exposed

GOPBloggers:  Privacy "Victim" Admits Hoax. Including this comment from Blogs For Bush's Mark Noonan:

Yep...and we know what the Kossacks will say...it was "fake but accurate"...while this particular story was BS, there are thousands of other such stories which are true, but the victims have all been sent to Gitmo and other sites of the American Gulag...

Ask Armando how many times Powerline has fallen for a story, whipped the GOP blogs into a frenzy, and never retracted.

To claim secular societies are rejecting God, is to concede that religious societies are rejecting reality.

    •  There's a difference between us and the wingnuts (none)
The wingnuts never admit to a mistake, a boo-boo, or a fabrication.  See Orcinus for an example of how the right-wing echo chamber hasn't acknowledged that it mixed up the New York Times and the Moonie Times.

Fact is, this stupid kid is the exception that proves the rule.  Examples of left-wing fabrications are few compared to those on the right.

We can be thankful that this story was false and then move on.  That's the best course of action.  And if a moonbat on the right brings it up, we can say, "We all know it was a hoax.  Get over it."

'vindiacates' them from any responsibility for "mistakes" like Iraq and Abu-Ghraib and anything else they might do in the future that costs thousands of lives...
