Seems to me this is the sort of thing of which schisms are made. The church may find itself divided over the issue of Pastor Chan--from the little I've read about him, he seems the type to play the persecuted martyr card pretty well.

    How can an established church operate when you only have teenagers going there? Unless, of course, they have some wingnut sugar daddy bankrolling this preachers pogrom.

    ... a lot of them might be teenagers, since when this pastor tried to kick out the 11 members who apparently did not vote for Bush, he (pastor) did it by packing a Monday night meeting with up to 30 teenagers who had joined the church in recent years and were all fired up to kick some ass.
