don't knock the blood drive (none / 0)

I give blood regularly and the Red Cross needs more donors than they have - just for everyday, noncrisis needs. Crises like Katrina and 9/11 bring people in to give blood who ordinarily wouldn't and the Red Cross hopes to convert these one time emergency donors into repeat donors.

  how could you think that i inferred that? i meant there is no comparison of this with the bombings-- with katrina a blood drive would make sense, there will be survivors.
