      White American lives are given the highest value by the cops and security forces. African Americans who get in the way of the cops get tasered, clubbed and jailed.
      
      The process was greatly simplified in Iraq. Security clears traffic jams for important Americans by blowing Iraqis out of the way.
      
      Of course, we say that the Iraqis have an independent government, not an American occupation.
      
      This is just American traffic control.

  Why?
  - Oil
  - Permanent military bases in a strategic part of the Middle East
  - The Bush Administration wanted a good reason to funnel hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars to his military contractor supporters
  - Saddam Hussein was a wienie who, when bought by the CIA, didn't stay bought
  - Because perpetual war abroad makes it easier to break down civil liberties at home
  - Because, if we left now, Bush would look bad, and those military contractors would be less likely to trust and fund Republicans and Blue Dog Democrats
  - Because, if we left now, Republicans would blame the Democratic Party for everything bad that happens in the area forever afterwards, and any subsequent terrorist attacks on the US, our allies and our national interests. Most Congressional Democrats right now don't think they could handle that.
  I didn't say they were good reasons.
