...it's about us
Obama is the netroots candidate, the 50-state strategy candidate, the anti-DLC candidate, the intellectual candidate.
I personally could care less about him per se... He represents us. Many people call him an empty vessel. I say it is full of our hopes and dreams.
If Hillary Clinton won the nomination, she would destroy everything that we worked so hard for... Our movement lives or dies with his candidacy. He has to win it all, period... 'cos through his candidacy, we are ALL running for president!

Obama's a politician with virtues and flaws. He doesn't represent all my hopes and dreams - no politician does or ever will - and Hillary's nomination will not destroy everything I've worked for. This is taking hero worship way too far for my taste.

...NOTHING...
I could care less about Barack the man...
I care about Barack the campaign... the 50 states, the 2,000,000 individual donors... I do not want to see that movement crushed into dust.

Is it possible for him to fill your hopes and dreams when he voted for tort reform?
He did -- see here.
Clinton VOTED AGAINST IT!!!
It puts profits over people, and blocks civil justice. It is GWB’s big payoff to corporations.
Why would Obama cooperate — would actually show up to vote for a change — is he a collaborator? Is this why the MSM is giving him the magic carpet ride, because of the financial structure of "media," just a fancy name for multinational corporations?
If Edwards ever supports him, it goes against everything he’s worked for, fought for.
Before anybody deep sixes this comment or decides to flame it, please try to give me an honest answer to my questions.
Thanks.

There is nothing special about Obama in the way you site. He has his flaws. His lack of handling of the mortgage crises "irks" me. I have a predatory loan where they lie about my payments, and put charges on the back of my loan sending one inaccurate statement after another. The FDIC is so back up with these loans that you will lose your house before you can straighten out their negligent book keeping or straight out stealing.
He has voted in ways I do not agree with, just as Hillary has. There are things he has done and said that I admire, but the same can be said of Hillary. (in my opinion). I lean toward Obama for some reasons, and sway toward Hillary for others.
I can't handle the irrational support of Obama that seems to deny his defects and see him as some kind of super hero. He's not. He's a man, he will have flaws, and by the time the republican's get done with him, he'll look a lot more like the Clintons.
