    I'm late to the party on reading these but have spent the last hour catching up (at least partway and I'll resume reading tomorrow).  

    I was 6 when the shootings happened so while it was something I knew about growing up, it had the same immediacy for me as the Civil War or the suffragette movement.  Important, but completely remote.  You've changed all that and I'm very grateful.

    What a remarkable labor of love -- for truth, for memory, for humanity, for democracy.

    I'm profoundly moved by your work here.
