Saddam launched scud attack against Israel during kuwait-Iraq war.

Why do you think Israel is so bent on destroying Iraq?

Saudi is just big idiot who can't defend its own territory. They need us there to protect their asses.

    •  Yes Saddam sent scuds at Israel (6+ / 0-)

But Israel had the means to deal with Saddam if necessary. Israel benefited from the hatred between Saddam and the Iranians. Removing Saddam has increased Israel's problems with Iran. Overall, I don't think Israel has benefited.

remember all the talk about "saddam" supporting Hamas, handing out money to suicide bomber family, hugging Arafat, etc?

There was a whole series of action.

trust me. Israel really wants Iraq gone. (the list is Syria, Iraq, Iran, Jordan and egypt too if they can get away. But Jordan is US satellite and egypt signed peace deal.)

anyway. the list is pretty much every single one of Israel neighbors.

anyway this is ancient history. Israel target is now Iran. They are pushing it very hard.

Of course this is a very hush-hush topic, since it is connected with money politics, etc etc ...

but my point: the drive toward more war still exist and still at play. All forces that support the war policy are still running full force.
