    Interesting ... Chalmers Johnson talked about a permanent base being "frantically" built in Kurdistan.

    Yet another way that Bushie can be impeached.  Show that he is spending tax dollars to use our military to protect his friend's investment.

    It's getting to the point where corruption may be a more obvious ground for impeachment than struggling over constitutional issues.

      something (in the discussion on MSNBC) about the press luncheon he attended with the President yesterday, and how Bush said something about perhaps 8 or 10 permanent bases, but that Williams couldn't talk about it because it would break a confidentiality agreement.

      I found that a very curious thing for him to offer up. It didn't seem like he just blurted this out accidentally - it was as if he wanted viewers to know that the President has plans for many permanent bases, and is trying to keep this info away from the public for now.

      I remember a time when the American President was the leader of the free world. ****** Repeat after me: "Neoconservatism has failed America."
