    on a particular case.  it rather should be about their attitude toward language.  how do they go about interpreting a law (or the Constitution as the case may be)?  of there's stare decisis which has an important role in the legal system, but there needs to be an exmination of how judges view language in order to understand how they view the law.  if a judge thinks laws change over time (with no revision by Congress/Legislatures), then there's a problem.  And if they think they can just look in the dictionary and find a range of meanings in order to apply the law, then there's a problem.  the point about this would be to see their judicial process and not necessarily their particular decisions.
