Amazingly, I get the feeling that Maria is more likely to be on our side than Patty.  It's not just her tech background ... she's really turned the corner in terms of the war.  Plus, she's pretty tight with Feingold.  Patty's pretty high in the leadership, so she's probably tied pretty tightly to Reid.

Murray hasn't established a position.  Cantwell's office seems to think that the Judiciary bill and/or amendments are up for debate, and also hasn't established a position on filibustering.

      •  Regarding Murray (0+ / 0-)

the form email I received this morning had this graf, referring to S. 2011 from 08-2007:

I supported Senator Levin's version of the Protect America Act because it offered the Bush Administration the tools needed to fight international terrorism while upholding the very liberties that our enemies seek to destroy. I did not support Senator McConnell's bill, because it went too far to legitimize the administration's warrantless wiretapping program. I believe allowing the Administration unchecked authority to invade the personal privacy of all Americans is the wrong message to send to our citizens and the world.

        hth.

Last time, the office said she opposed immunity, but hadn't decided whether or not to support a filibuster.  Looks like the position is pretty much the same this time.
