As many of the comments have indicated, the NAFTA story has been discredited, and there is speculation that the Clinton campaign was the one who winked at the Canadian gov't-- not Obama.

What Samantha Powers said was undoubtedly childish, but it should not take away from the advice she has given Obama, nor should it discredit her amazing intellect. She is not a trained politician, and that does come across the heartfelt apology she gave, as well as the off-the-cuff remark about Hillary being a monster.

In any case, both Clinton and Obama reserve the right to assess the situation and change according to the circumstances, and Obama has always said this. If Clinton says that she will go according to her campaign proposals, regardless of how the situation changes (like in Iraq), she is lying.
