    That's what this discussion was about when Hillary brought it up and that's what it's about now... regardless of whatever you LBJ fans think it's about.

    This is a bad direction for anyone looking for unity to go.

      One could dismiss his contributions to the ending of slavery in the same way.

        because your line of argument has a history in this campaign, and no matter how semantic you want to get, your reasoning already has meaning for blacks and progressives.

        Hillary made sure of that.

        Personally, I'm willing to admit LBJ had a part in the history, of course.

        But your diary is not the avenue to unity. It's only an avenue to a cloaked racist argument that Hillary tried to use in the primary.
