    It worked pretty well to solidify McCain's support among religious conservatives, as well it should: her religious practices and her willingness to take part in the culture war make ol Huck seem like an agnostic democrat.  I mean, she ran a religious campaign against a Lutheran to win her mayor's seat.

    The USG could have bailed out homeowners, or the middle class, thereby preventing so many mortgage defaults and the resulting financial meltdown.
