    Or yesterday, that being governor of an energy-rich state means she "gets it", so some such nonsense, and Obama doesn't (although coal, for good or ill, is important in Illinois).  

    So let's reason through this:  she's popular in Alaska because she was able to return money "to the people", because of --- drumroll please -- skyrocketing oil prices!  And she's going to help the US economy -- how?  

    I hate these people.

      "good old clean, green natural gas" makes my stomach turn.

      Not only is it not clean, not green, but 100% of Alaskan natural gas is earmarked to be shipped over to Japan and East Asia.

      However, you could probably power a wide swath of Alaska with the hot air emanating from the McCain campaign.
