        Daschle was majority leader in 2002, had he not been, Johnson loses.  Once he lost that power...

        Spent 6 years demonizing Daschle non-stop when he was the leader of the Dems in the Senate.  It doesn't help that there's no progressive radio here to counter right-wing propaganda like Rush, Hannity, et al.  

        I'm hoping the 50 State Strategy is eventually going to focus on getting progressive media alternatives in every state, too.  Just like we can't write off entire states every election, we can't abandon entire states to Republican propaganda.  That's what leads to things like the youngest voting demographic slightly favoring McCain, rather than being for Obama.
