  •  this breaks my heart! (7+ / 0-)

is this how the neocons turn off young voters who might actually THINK one day?

i feel so sorry for the young girl who was crying.  she is most likely a product of her parents and surroundings - and to have that world inform her in no uncertain terms that she doesn't "fit" is so sad.

what a brutal lesson in stereotyping - i hope she remembers this and in the next election, votes for inclusion instead of exclusion.

this is such a sorry statement on what the republican takeover has done to what was once an honorable political party!

my father was a republican - an honest one.  he voted for democrats, too - which ever was the best candidate - just like i, as a liberal and democrat have voted for republicans when they were the best candidates.

that was a long time ago - now, i don't care if the dems are running the friggin' jackass, my ticket is going for that one!

one day.... one day! maybe obama's gift to america will be to make america inclusive again - and this girl won't be left crying in the street - for he will embrace her and her beliefs as surely as he will welcome mine!

on tuesday, let's pray that america - ALL of america - has barack obama for president!

let's pray there is an end to the politics of derision and devision once and for all.

i want MY america back! the one where on wednesday morning, ALL elected officials roll up their sleeves and get to work for what is good for the whole country!

that's why i am taking saturday, sunday, monday and most of tuesday off to go make calls to plead with those in swing states to help bring this nation back into ONE nation - under the constitution!

I didn't get upset when I read about the ejected young Republican.  But I did tear up a bit at what you wrote.

Go get 'em, and bless you!  You, not Joe the Non-Plumber, are what America is all about.

maybe this is the magic that is obama - he represents a chance to reclaim what is the best of our nation!

the world is counting on us - the u.s. - the UNITED states of america!  for none of us can do it alone - not you, me, the young girl, barack, the u.s., the rest of the global family.

we really do need each other in ways never before if this planet is to survive the human experiment.

bless you, too - and bless all of us as our future is beginning to shine through the darkest hours.
