  •  Okay, we don't exactly know (4+ / 0-)

Republican vice-presidential nominee and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin did not know Africa was a continent, a Fox News correspondent quoted unnamed McCain aides as saying on Thursday

...because it's hearsay without context from anonymous sources. Too bad.  I'd love to hear the blow-by-blow.  Maybe later, when the tell-all books come out.

She could have said that there were people in the McCain campaign who did not like her and were lying about how ignorant she was and that Fox and Newsweek were only repeating this nonsense because they had an axe to grind.

I think she's not the sharpest but would be truly shocked if the story were true. It's just shivs at midnight.

Back when I worked at Outback, we had this thing called the Hostess quiz. All you had to do was name the 7 continents. From there we would rank you as a hostess. It's all you needed, people skills not required.

Sarah Palin's not even qualified to be an Outback hostess! Ha! No rules, just right!
