I was struck by the thought that he really didn't seem like a president. I thought about it, and realized that the reason is he didn't sound boring. Gah! I am young enough (16) that I don't remember having any other president than Bush. It's awful, but January is coming!

Your only memory of a President being Bush is my idea of a nightmare! I remember JFK barely, but I remember him! I also remember Nixon and Reagan so it's a mixed bag!

only aware of having Bush as president. During Clinton I only really became aware during the end of it, which wasn't pretty.

It's so wonderful to be excited to listen to our leader.  I'm actually going to listen to his radio addresses and videos.  Amazing stuff.

That's so not true, ya know, I'm 25, and back in the 80s, there was this old guy... I can't remember his name, but good GAWD was he funny! He'd always say funny things like "Facts are stupid things." and
"Well, I learned a lot....I went down to (Latin America) to find out from them and (learn) their views. You'd be surprised. They're all individual countries"

And of course my personal favorite
"The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help.'"

Cause man that guy must've been a stand-up comedian or an actor or something before he was president... He was one funny guy!
