    I lived in Oklahoma for many years. One of the most moving experiences of my life was Tulsa's American Indian Theater Company's production of Black Elk Speaks in 1984.

    Wes Studi. David Carridine. Bobby Bridger.

    I was so moved that I went back to see the play 3 times. I wish the company had found the funding for a national run.

    It was mesmerizing and devastating.
