Who had supervised Al-Qaeda inmates both in Pennsylvania and Seattle I faced serious unlawful actions by the DOJ for whistle blowing.  Unfortunately these actions are the norm at the DOJ and other government agencies charged with defense or intelligence responsibilities.  After everything I have witnessed I fear that the concept of the rule of law in the US is a historical one.  There are just too many dirty secrets for the system to ever come clean with those it has violated or the society it serves.

A society where the rule of law does not extend to those charged with enforcing the same is a society where the rule of law does not function.

There are many of us that still hold our oath of office in high regard.  There are few things that more adversely effect society than those that violate their public trust, for whatever reason.  Rationalization of corrupt actions by those that lead our judiciary and government oversight has led to the loss of faith in the very foundational aspects of our society.  Hence the reason outsourced government services is a failed concept.  Those that place corporate profit before their fellow citizens is a system that will work to the detriment of the society it is supposed to serve.
