    I think you are entirely right.  It's important for Obama to focus on the economic health of the nation, but he'll let his dogs loose to sniff out the crimes committed by Bush and company.

      because right now it sounds like he's not interested in it.

      Perhaps he wants to wait until Bush is out of office and this is a strategy to make Bush/Cheney believe they don't have much to worry about, hence no need for blanket pardons.  If so, I'm okay with that.

      By next week, we should know how serious Obama is about accountability.

        If Obama went on a tear talking about how hard he was going to investigate the Bush admin, I think Bush would just pardon everyone in advance.
