All the best to you and yours.  Thanks for all that you do.  Loved the story about the bricks and the idea that Jefferson, Lewis and Clark were once in the same home where you lived, on an historic occasion, is pretty damn cool.  I loved the image of walking on those bricks in bare feet.

When I read your title and before I read the diary, for some reason I thought I knew what you were going to say.  All of a sudden, I had an image of all of us finding piles of bricks that had somehow been lost for years; bricks that we would use to figuratively rebuild our country, and literally rebuild our schools, bridges, green homes and offices, and factories and many places where Americans could begin to make real things again, and provide good job to all who want and need them.

I do love bricks.  The front of my house is faced with brick and we built brick patios and walkways.  Many good things can be done with good bricks.
