    Because the Washington Times has a reputation for being conservative, it has received little positive recognition for its stand on integrity.  The Times has been a consistent supporter of government whistleblowers, in Democratic administrations and Republican, eagerly publishing whistleblower op-eds on corruption in government.  In this, the Times has a better record than the 'liberal' Washington Post.)

    Like many conservatives outside of the Bush circle of cronies, the Times views integrity in government as essential to preserving our freedoms.  Here, millions of Americans can find common ground, and I can think of no better place to begin the dialogue on America's future.
