    generous interpretation of what "returning to the battlefield" means. Apparently, it includes talking to the press and writing op eds about conditions in Gitmo.

    We can hardly be surprised. These are the same folks who claimed that the attempted suicides by detainees were acts of asymetrical warfare against the U.S.

      Good lord, haven't heard this definition til now.  Suicide watches on death row inmates facing imminent execution makes me sick (along with executions, period)...WE must have the satisfaction of killing you, you cannot deny us our retributive pleasure.

      But then a  frontier Airlines stewardess accuses a mother/passenger of committing "acts of terrorism" because the woman was upset with her own kids & spoke impolitely to the stewardess.  I may have this confused with another incident, but I think the mother was sentenced to 20 months in jail & her kids were taken away from her.

      This pecking order of power mongering under the guise of "fighting terrorism" is abominable and has to be stopped in its tracks.
