    not the pb itself, that has caused deaths. It is not the fault of the peanut butter, this could have happened to any food product.

      It is the fault of the items that have been recalled, as they are the carriers of the deadly bacteria.

      The diary contains a list of those particular items, and the title is apt.

      I certainly agree that it could have (and has, many many times...) happened with any other food product.  But in this particular case, it's peanut butter products sourced from one specific supplier that have been affected.  That information is also contained in this diary.

          yes; the supplier is at fault.  peanut butter is inanimate and has no ability to act.  but none of that changes the fact that it is the peanut butter which is causing all the deaths.  if somebody shoots you, they are indeed at fault, but it was the gun what killed ya.
