    Dissent = Trolling?

    Unlike you I can have a discussion on an issue without getting all upset. And I can even disagree with someone once in awhile and not start demonizing them.

      before making an accusation like that it is a good idea to check out someone's profile, diary and comment history, etc.  i think if you do, you will find your suggestion rather laughable.

    •  Perhaps I was too harsh to call you a troll (2+ / 0-)

      But I thought that might sound better than saying you were an uninformed commentator blundering into a discussion that has very serious consequences for our country, not to mention an unknown number of innocent prisoners who face at a minimum cruel, inhumane and degrading treatment.

      This is no game.

      If I thought you knew what you were talking about, or had serious disagreements based upon some kind of experience or study, that would be one thing. But to get to see your name in print, and put forth your ideas and not really have the faintest idea whether these ideas are important, or accurate, or anything, but whose greatest proof of their relevancy is that they sprung from your brain... well, I thought I'd let it go as the comments of a troll.

      OK, so you are not a troll. You may have good instincts, I don't know, to even hang around this diary. You say you are interested in getting Bush on the torture issue. Then I suggest you read deeply and long for awhile, really study the issues, and then come back with your own diary and/or truly relevant comments.

      fighting to stop torture as the law, policy and practice of the United States, and against the use of Psychologists in the torture of prisoners in Guantanamo. You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about !
