    anytime soon in this market. Which makes this purchase of a new jet even more unnecessary. I can't fault them for wanting to upgrade, we've all probably traded in our car for a better one or bought a bigger TV or faster computer when we really didn't need to. But I would hope that most of us have never done it while receiving government assistance, and I can fault Citi for that.

    The best way to sell a jet in this economy is to make sure it's insured and crash it. Well, not intentionally, of course, but I bet after hearing that there were no injuries, top execs at Continental and US Air were probably jumping for joy after their recent accidents. They're always trying to downsize fleets and basically sold a plane in a market where no one's buying. That's probably about the only way to get fair market value for a plane right now.
