The vote was be almost party line with only a few Democrats voting against it and a few Republicans crossing the line and voting for it.

here is one I expect to see for the next 4 years on important legislation.

The Republicans who don't cross the line will get to face the voters as "obstructionists"... a line that'll get them booted anywhere outside the reddest districts in the reddest Red States.

The ones that do might not only get to keep their jobs, but to become the new party leadership in the corporate-right party I expect Big Business to found to supplant the GOP. The program will be the same old shit, but minus the culture wars to make marketing to the "Pepsi Generation" possible.

Oh and seriously corporate right party- w/what platform?  You think ppl 30 and under (and those who are 10 and older as well) are that stupid?

You know sometimes societies really do change, sometimes paradigm shift do happen.  The GOP has already made a deadly mistake.  Most ppl (young ppl) I know are already thinking that the GOP will die off (by 2016) and the Dems will split.  But again there's just certain crap that doesn't mean anything (nor will it) to my generation.

Come on corporate right party sold to us like Pepsi (more like crystal Pepsi).  Ha, you are talking about the generation that's been burned by the RIA!!!!!!  Both parties need to study up by 2016 (or rather both Dem factions)

GOP = Godless opposition party We Hassle to make America a Vassal (state)

While young people are more politically aware than they have been in previous elections, this is not a majority, and a new center-right party that has left the culture war behind might be a whole lot easier to sell to young people.

I'm sure that there are some youth pop culture figures for sale who'd be willing to help out.
