I really think Democrats need to pay more attention to young voters.  Assuming that they'll come out and vote just because we're closer to them on the issues doesn't seem to have worked.  The RNC pumps tons of money into establishing Young Republican groups on college campuses across the country. I think we need to rival that.

We also need to work on Latino registration and mobilization.  They're not turning out in numbers that are even close to their percentage of the population.

...if Bush even mentions a hint of a draft, college students will drop out and move to Canada, but not before they have a few hours to torch the White House.  We are a spoiled generation.  We aren't going to fight this war, even if they let us take our iPods with us.

Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we. -W

...and as one of the most active volunteers for Penn's College Democrats, I can say that we could definitely use more funding. Not necessarily more strategy from DNC or upper-level people - we can do fine by ourselves, as we did awesome GOTV on campus and in West Philly. But we need more FUNDING - we have to find a way to raise money for ourselves, and the DNC gives us NOTHING. That's the main difference. We have the more motivated people, and we have the numbers. Just give us the tools we need, please...
