  •  That "Sir" definitely takes him down a peg (8+ / 0-)

I'll always credit his role with the Ireland Funds because they played a significant economic development leadership role in Ulster and in the counties bordering Ulster.

One of the biggest drivers of the peace process was an expanding middle class in Northern Ireland, and kudos to everyone who had a hand in making that happen.

However, Tony's non-collaborative work history has not been as stellar as his bank statement.

The Ireland Funds involved NGO and government stakeholders and Rugby is team sports played with rules that apply to everyone. Heinz was a giant in the market with him and without him. Note the pattern.

He has been wildly successful following the path of State/NGO actors, following an established board of directors or being part of a team. Where he found circumstances already set in motion, he did well and helped others do better.

However, the guy is not a thinker. He does not do well pushing his own vision.  Sadly, neither do thousands of other people who become victims when Tony decides to think outside the box.

Religion is like sodomy: both can be harmless when practiced between consenting adults but neither should be imposed upon children.
