    If we wanted tax cuts galore, we would have voted in McCain. President Obama consistently lashed out against tax cuts and the economic philosophy that got us into this mess. He talked ceaselessly about a stimulus plan that will create jobs and serve as downpayment on future needs. Did you not pay attention?

        the benefits of those tax cuts.  His platform wasn't about tax cuts as a panacea for economic ills, rather that those tax cuts, if given, should benefit the vast bulk of working Americans.

          times. This bill is too light on green jobs, but it's a start.  And he made clear that he would offer some tax relief to most Americans but the way to deal with the economic crisis is to take a page from FDR and stimulate the economy.
